guille rambles about Ganondorf as a character

the gerudo lands have made quite the development since the hero of time’s erathey went from a town of thieves to a wonderland of traderemember when ganondorf went on and on about how in the desert they lived with death every day when he was a young?well now theres water flowing through every street in gerudo town (with quite the nice arquitecture btw, reminds me of the fountains and stairs in La Alhambra, Granada)but this is what ganondorf wanted since the beggining, he wanted to be a king who brought the richness of life to his peopletoo bad that kid inherited the spirit of the king of evilits kinda sadby now he may have forgotten what made him make his moves

i really do love ganondorf’s character, it goes deep

but im left to wonderwhen the triforce first split itself and hid into three people courage chose link because of the spirit of the hero and wisdom chose zelda because she’s blood of the goddessdid power choose ganondorf because of the influence of demise? or was it for ganondorf himself, and his strong belief in power?it cant be demise, in the adult timeline the three goddesses flodded hyrule just to seal the evil king, they actively went against it because of what it was(there’s also this theory that that timeline’s ganondorf came to a similar conclusion, learned about his true nature and tried not to let the evil overtake him and that’s why he doesn’t use dark magic in his fight but this is just a sidenote)a part of the triforce wouldnt choose someone because they had evil itself inside them, if anything that would be a reason not to choose them

so somehow ganondorf’s belief in power was so intense the triforce chose him because of that, no blood or spirit neededtho that intensity could have risen from the evil king’s hatred inside of him
